Jessica Nkosi, South African actress and model is best known for portraying the character of Qondi on Mzansi Magic’s telenovela turned soap opera, Isibaya. In 2015 the actress was crowned as the new local influencer in collaboration with cosmetic company Clinique, which was the first time Clinique chose to partner with a local South African celebrity. Clinique then partnered with CHOC for the Clinique Difference Initiative.
Having lost her father to cancer, CHOC is a big part of Jessica’s life and she believes in creating awareness of childhood cancer through the early warning signs - to save lives!
South African singer, model, television presenter and actress best known from the action drama series ‘Heist’ which started airing on Etv in February 2016, host of Season 3 reality show ‘Our Perfect Wedding’ and co-host (with Bujy Bikwa) of the Mzansi Magic/Mzansi Wethu game show Cula Sibone in 2013.
Phumeza is also a mother who has had an encounter with childhood cancer. In 2014 her son was diagnosed with Bilateral Retinoblastoma a cancer of the eye. Her son has since had both his eyes removed. Having had this experience Phumeza is very dedicated to assisting CHOC in educating communities and creating awareness about childhood cancer and the early warning signs.
Maurice Paige, who also plays the character “Calvin” in one of South Africa’s leading soaps sidings is a remarkable talent that rose to become one of South Africa’s most phenomenal personalities. He is a multiple-award-winning actor, but whether it’s on or off screen, Maurice has a reputation of continually stepping up to the plate and delivering. His achievements include Mr. November in the Cosmopolitan calendar, 10th sexiest man by Cosmopolitan for 2008, the people’s choice award for best newcomer. He also listed as sexiest man 2012 – internationally by the People’s Magazine.
