Boldly Creating Awareness Webinar
GOLD is the colour of strength, courage, resiliency, and GOLD is the symbolic colour of childhood cancer. Every year September is Internationally celebrated as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time when cancer organisations around the world put the spotlight on children’s cancer and the need to improve early diagnosis, treatment and a better outcomes.
On the 28th of September 2002 CHOC will host a webinar to implore on you to Be Bold and Go Gold Boldly in supporting our courageous and resilient children and teenagers who have no choice in fighting this battle of childhood cancer. We believe that early detection saves lives, and this can only happen if we all stand together and boldly create awareness about childhood cancer.
Our host, well known TV and radio presenter, Peter Ndoro will be in conversation with Phumeza Mdabe (SA TV personality and a mom of a childhood cancer survivor), Liviwe Takule (a childhood cancer survivor), Grant Bain (Founder of The Cows who boldly create awareness through sporting events) and Sr Brenda Herbert a CHOC Community Trainer who boldy works in communities to train healthcare professionals on the EWS of childhood cancer.
