It is with great sadness, and after much consultation, that we have made the difficult decision to cancel our 16th Annual CHOC Walk up Sani Pass, which was scheduled to take place on 9 August 2025. Every year, we look forward to the camaraderie, the passion, and the excitement that the day and experience bring—for both you and the entire CHOC family.

This decision—one that has not been made lightly—comes as a result of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Despite our best efforts and extensive consultation with the various stakeholders, and experts, we are faced with challenges that we simply cannot overcome within the limited time remaining.

We felt it was important to communicate this as early as possible to give you, ample notice ahead of the planned date.

Please rest assured that all funds and donations in kind will be fully refunded. The CHOC team will be in touch with each of you shortly to facilitate this process.

We understand how disappointing this news may be, and we share in that disappointment. The CHOC Walk has always been more than just an event—it is a symbol of unity, courage, and compassion for children and teenagers undergoing cancer treatment. We remain fully committed to this mission, and your continued support means the world to us.
