Who are you wearing the Gold CHOC Ribbon for?

Every September, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is observed to create awareness for children and teenagers with cancer and their families.

This dedicated month aims to raise awareness about paediatric cancers, promote early diagnosis, and emphasise the need for funding. It serves as a time to honour the bravery of young patients and survivors, remember the children who have lost their lives, and support the families affected by this disease.

Through community events, fundraising activities, and educational campaigns, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month seeks to inspire action and foster hope for a future where every child and teen has access to effective treatments and the possibility of a cure.

Who are you wearing your ribbon for?

The children and teens who bravely and courageously go through the cancer journey.

The survivors who beat cancer. The parents and the families who fearlessly live with the realities of cancer and with the loss of a precious child. The volunteers, staff, and medical team who passionately serve and dedicate their time to the childhood cancer community.
